It is the custom of the majority of the people of Tarim to observe the fast for the first 6 days of Shawwaal straight after Eid day coinciding with the 2nd of Shawwaal

1 : 6th night – Sheikh Abdullah bin Alaydrous mosque in the market place.

2 : 7th night – Ba’alawi mosque of Muharram to the Grave of Prophet Hud. (PBUH)

3 : 8th night – Assagaaf mosque, Sheikh Ali bin Abi Bakr Asakraan mosque andAwwabiin mosque.

4 : 9th night – Almihdaar mosque

5 : 10th night – Suwaiya mosque in Algulaiyf

6 : 11th night – Alw’al in Algulaiyf.
